Salesforce1 Developer Week in Singapore !!

Held on 6-May-2014

This is an Annual global event where Salesforce Developer Groups across the world met to  to talk Salesforce1. We are proud to be part of the 1.5 Million developers in the Salesforce Developer Community !!

Around 60 people joined the event. We had Nick Tran, Sr. Director Developer Marketing, and Jessica Langston, Developer Program Manager as special guests for the Event. Both of them are based in San Francisco. 

Event was held at The Hub, near Somerset. Location was great, in city centre and walking distance from MRT station

Around 6pm the participants started flowing in, and soon the hall was full.

I kicked off the event around 6:20 and the evening started with Nick's presentation about Developer Community and Salesforce1. Nick touched on how the Salesforce community is growing and its impact on industry. Then he went through Salesforce1 capabilities. He also announced the new Salesforce Portal for Developers: developer.salesforce.com

We had a brief visit from representatives of Salesforce Foundation. They updated everyone about what the Foundation is, and how can developer community help Non-Profits and Salesforce Foundation in their mission.

The daylight was fading and we decided to have a group photo before the night falls

After dinner, everyone was ready to try hands-on on Salesforce1 Mobile App

We walked through the hands-on workshop and everyone got busy in trying out Salesforce1 App and Customising it. Those who could finish the workshop exercises got Hoodies and T-Shirts while stocks lasted.
